McGinnis (born August 10, 1950) is an American former professional basketball player who played 11 seasons in the American Basketball Association (ABA) and National Basketball Association (NBA). He was drafted into the ABA from Indiana University in 1971.He was named an All-Star 4 times in a 5-year span from 1970-1974 and was All-Star Game MVP in 1973.
