Same thing happens when simming it. Same thing happens with my starting QB when I sim. He doesn't play. He's perfectly healthy. I've had seasons where I start 7-2 or so, then sim because I get bored and miss the playoffs because my 60 overall backup QB started the rest of the games. Auto subs work by sub-out being the level they'll be taken out, with sub-in being the level they get put back in, but i don't believe this works on percentile so players with low stamina can get shafted here.
